Elijah Meason

Elijah Meason is the founder of MHAPSS and a contributing author for the website. He is dedicated to bringing awareness to the ever growing need for mental health and addiction support.
He is currently working at a dual diagnosis treatment center in Espanola, NM. In addition to his duties as Certified Peer Support Worker, he facilitates psychoeducational groups and oversees the organizations CARF requirements.
Elijah isn’t quite sure what to say about his free time being that he doesn’t have much.
Qualifications

- CBT Coach Practitioner
Along with these certifications, he has experience in overcoming mental health and addiction challenges in his own life.

Education
Elijah is in the process of obtaining his Bachelors degree in Social Work and plans to continue on to get his Masters. Along with his formal education, he is consistently taking continuing education classes in relation to the peer support field. He is a long time student of meditation and is knowledgeable in group dynamics.
